Study on the Chemical Components in Flower Buds of Magnolia Biondii Pamp. and the Identification of Traditional Chinese Drug Xinyi by Thin Layer Chromatography
The dried flower buds of Magnolia biondii Pamp. , main source of traditional Chinese drug Xinyi, were pulverized and extracted by refluxing with 95% ethanol. The extract was chromatographed on an adsorptive silica gel column. Four colorless crystals I , II, III, IV and one yellow powder V were isolated.
