【Abstract】 The relationship between materiality and architecture through atmosphere is emphasized in the syllabus.Comprehension of materiality is placed at the starting point of design and atmosphere is set to be the key to controlling the design process.While the focus on functional differences is reduced,the design process based on canonical references analysis and reality analysis are promoted.Moreover,the comprehensive and associative thoughts of basic architectural problems is underlined.The syllabus is divided into two parts:the pilot exercises includes creating the space composed of specific materials, while the comprehensive design emphasizes the atmosphere created by the combination of multiple materials.更多还原
