钇微合金化对B10白铜组织和性能的影响

【摘要】 B10白铜因其优异的力学性能、耐蚀性能等,主要应用于海水淡化蒸发管,船舶空冷器等重点工业领域。为了能更好满足服役使用条件,添加稀土是有效提升B10白铜性能的方法之一。本文采用真空熔炼方法制备了不同含量稀土Y的B10白铜合金,利用金相显微镜、涡流电导率仪和扫描电子显微镜,分析稀土Y对B10白铜微观组织、力学性能、导电性能和耐蚀性能的影响。结果表明:稀土Y能有效的净化B10白铜熔体,去除O、S等杂质元素;随着稀土Y含量的增加,B10白铜二次枝晶间距呈先减小后增大的趋势,当稀土Y含量为0.06wt.%时,枝晶细化效果最好;而B10白铜的抗拉强度和硬度随着稀土含量的增加分别先升高后下降,当稀土含量为0.03wt.%时,白铜获得最好的综合力学性能,其布氏硬度最大为70.2 HBW,抗拉强度达到288MPa,稀土Y的细晶作用是性能提升的主要原因;合金的导电率呈先降低后升高的趋势,当稀土含量为0.06wt.%时,导电率最小,为6.6%IACS,这是由于晶粒细化,晶界增多,电子散射几率增大,导致电阻率增大,导电性下降;B10白铜的耐蚀性能随稀土Y含量的增加先升高后降低,稀土Y含量为0.03wt.%时,自腐蚀电流密度最小,腐蚀速率最慢,合金耐蚀性能最好。
【Abstract】 B10 white copper is mainly used in key industrial fields such as seawater desalination evaporator tubes and ship air coolers due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. In order to better meet the service conditions,adding rare earth is one of the methods to effectively improve the performance of B10 white copper. In this paper,B10 white copper alloys with different contents of rare earth Y were prepared by vacuum melting method. The effects of rare earth Y on the microstructure,mechanical properties,electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance of B10 white copper were analyzed by metallographic microscope,eddy current conductivity meter and scanning electron microscope.The results show that rare earth Y can effectively purify B10 copper white melt and remove O,S and other impurity elements. With the increase of rare earth Y content,the secondary dendrite spacing of B10 white copper decreases first and then increases. When the rare earth Y content is 0.06wt.%,the refinement effect is the best. The strength and hardness of B10 white copper increase first and then decrease with the increase of rare earth content. When the rare earth content is 0.03wt.%,the white copper obtains the best comprehensive mechanical properties. The maximum Brinell hardness is 70.2 HBW,and the tensile strength reaches 288 MPa. The fine grain effect of rare earth Y is the main reason for the performance improvement. The conductivity of the alloy decreases first and then increases. When the rare earth content is 0.06wt.%,the conductivity is the smallest,which is 6.6% IACS. This is due to the grain refinement,the increase of grain boundary and the increase of electron scattering probability,resulting in the increase of resistivity and the decrease of conductivity. The corrosion resistance of B10 white copper increases first and then decreases with the increase of rare earth Y content. When the rare earth Y content is 0.03wt.%,the self-corrosion current density is the smallest,the corrosion rate is the slowest,and the corrosion resistance of the alloy is the best.
