【摘要】 目的 :本研究通过meta分析探讨环状RNA(circRNA)异常表达是否与口腔癌(oral cancer, OC的诊断及预后有关。方法 :采用敏感性、特异性、阳性似然比、阴性似然比、曲线下面积和诊断优势比等参数综合评估环状RNA的总体诊断效果。采用风险比(HR)和95%可信区间(CI)评估环状RNA对预后的影响。结果 :meta分析结果显示,促癌环状RNA的高表达与较差的临床病理特征和较差的总生存率相关(HR=2.02, 95%CI:1.65-2.48)。抑癌环状RNA的高表达与较好的临床病理特征和较好的总生存率相关(HR=0.49, 95%CI:0.32-0.74)。合并后的敏感性为0.72 (95%CI:0.68-0.76)、特异性为0.77 (95%CI:0.73-0.80),合并后的受试者工作特征(SROC)曲线下面积为0.80 (95%CI:0.76-0.83)。结论 :环状RNA在预测口腔癌预后和诊断方面有一定价值,但需要更多高质量的临床研究来证实这一观点。更多还原

【Abstract】 Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore whether the abnormal expression of circRNAs is associated with the diagnosis and prognosis of oral cancer by meta-analysis. Methods: We used pooled parameters, including sensitivity, specificity, the positive likelihood ratio, the negative likelihood ratio, the area under the curve and the diagnostic odds ratio, to evaluate the overall diagnostic efficacy of circRNAs. The hazard ratios(HRs) and 95% confidence interval(CI) were used to assess the effect of circRNAs on prognosis. Results: The meta-analysis revealed that high expression of tumourpromoter circRNAs was related to worse clinicopathological characteristics and worse overall survival rates(HR=2.02, 95% CI: 1.65-2.48). High expression of tumour suppressor circRNAs was related to better clinicopathological features and better overall survival rates(HR=0.49, 95% CI: 0.32 to 0.74). The pooled sensitivity was 0.72(95% CI: 0.68-0.76), the specificity was 0.77(95% CI: 0.73-0.80), and the area under the curve of the pooled subject operating characteristic was 0.80(95% CI: 0.76-0.83). Conclusions: CircRNAs are valuable for predicting the prognosis and diagnosis of oral cancer, but high-quality clinical studies are needed to confirm this.更多还原
