Xe离子辐照硼硅酸盐玻璃的宏观性质改变以及对应的微观机理

【摘要】 将不同组分的硼硅酸盐玻璃采用不同剂量的Xe离子辐照以模拟玻璃固化体在α衰变条件下的辐照效应,并测量了辐照前后硼硅酸盐玻璃的硬度和模量、表面损伤区的红外谱和拉曼谱。发现辐照后玻璃硬度和模量随剂量先下降后达到饱和,从红外光谱可以看出:辐照导致硼硅酸盐玻璃中[BO3]结构增加。通过红外光谱的高斯拟合得到[BO3]特征振动峰的强度与硬度和模量成线性关系,而从拉曼谱中没有看到辐射导致的明显变化,由此可以得出结论:离子辐照导致的[BO3]结构的增加是硼硅酸盐玻璃硬度和模量下降的主要原因。
【Abstract】 In this work, to simulate radiation effect of alpha decay, the borosilicate glasses with different compositions were irradiated with different dose Xe ions. The hardness, modulus, Infrared and Raman spectroscopies of the damaged area of the sample surface after irradiation were measured. With irradiation of ion, the hardness and modulus of borosilicate glasses dropped and then saturated. After radiation,the [BO3] units in borosilicate glasses increased which was obtained from infrared spectra. Intensity of peaks fitted by Gaussian, which are assign to vibration of [BO3], is linear function of hardness of borosilicate glasses. However, from the Raman spectra, there is no obvious change caused by irradiation was observed. Therefore, we can conclude that the increase of [BO3] structure caused by ion irradiation is the main reason for the decrease of hardness and modulus of borosilicate glasses.
