Generation of continuous-variable quadripartite cluster state multiplexed in the spatial domain

【摘要】 As a highly entangled quantum network, the multipartite entanglement has the potential for greater information capacity and use in measurement-based quantum computation. We firstly produce CV hyperentanglement with polarization and orbital angular momentum in a single optical parametric amplifier(OPA), which has a promising application in parallel processing of continuous-variable multi-chmannel quantum information and multiparameters quantum metrology. Furthermore, the pump-profile dependence of the entanglement of this state is explored. Compared with fundamental mode pumping, an enhancement of approximately 35% is achieved using the suitable pump-profile mode. Then, by the transformation of quantum state, we generate a continuous-variable quadripartite "square" cluster state of multiplexing orthogonal spatial modes. Such spatial cluster states may contribute to future schemes in spatial quantum information processing.
