基于大振幅震荡剪切(LAOS)的沥青非线性力学行为研究

【摘要】 沥青结合料是一种典型的热敏性材料,准确认识和科学评价沥青的流变性能对提升沥青路面材料的力学性能意义显著。本文借助先进的流变测试平台和非线性流变学方法(傅里叶流变学和Lissajous曲线),研究了LAOS测试条件(温度、频率)和沥青性质(来源产地、老化状态)对其非线性力学行为的影响规律。研究结果表明:24℃条件下沥青的三阶相对谐波强度比I3/I1远大于36℃和48℃,该指标随着测试温度的增加而明显减小。对比不同温度和不同频率下沥青的I3/I1和Lissajous曲线发现,沥青材料的非线性程度随着温度的降低而显著增大,并随着频率的增加而增大;对比两种针入度分级相同、来源产地不同的基质沥青,发现其I3/I1和Lissajous曲线均未见明显差异,说明沥青的来源产地不会明显影响其非线性流变行为;对比未老化、短期老化和长期老化沥青的I3/I1和Lissajous曲线,发现随着老化程度的增加,I3/I1指标明显增大,且Lissajous曲线出现显著扭曲,表明老化会显著增强沥青的非线性程度。

【Abstract】 Bitumen binder is a typical kind of thermosensitive material. An accurate understanding and scientific evaluation of the rheological behavior of bitumen is of great significance to improve the mechanical properties of asphaltic materials. This study employed the advanced rheology test platform and introduced the nonlinear rheology methods(Fourier rheology and Lissajous curve method) to investigate the effects of LAOS testing conditions(temperature and frequency) and bitumen properties(bitumen origin and aging degree) on the nonlinear mechanical behavior of bitumen. The results show that the third-order relative harmonic intensity ratio of I3/I1 of bitumen at 24℃ were much greater than that of 36℃ and 48℃ and this index significantly decrease with temperature. Comparisons based on the Lissajous curves and third-order relative harmonic intensity ratio of I3/I1 indicate that the nonlinearity of bitumen increased with the decrease of temperature but increases with the increase of frequency. A comparison of two base bitumen binders with the same penetration grade but different origin shows that no significant differences were observed in term of the index I3/I1 and Lissajous curves. This means that the origin of bitumen does not significantly affect the nonlinearity of bitumen. Finally, the comparison among unaged, short-term aged and long-term aged bitumen binders shows that with the increase of aging degree,the index I3/I1 increases significantly and the Lissajous curves distortion are obvious. Therefore, aging can greatly enhance the nonlinearity of bitumen.
