微通道板的电路设计研究

【摘要】 微通道板是一种二维连续电子图像能量倍增的电真空器件,它由几百万个具有连续电子倍增能力的通道规则排列而成,通道的两个端面通常镀上金属膜层,构成输入和输出电极。由于微通道板具有结构紧凑、体积小、时间响应快等特点,且本身对大多数荷电粒子、部分含能粒子和短波光子探测灵敏,所以采用微通道板直接测量粒子就可以获得超快的时间响应。微通道板通常需要加上合适的电压才能正常工作,本文将对其后端电路进行研究,分析了各电阻、电容元器件的参数对微通道板输出信号的影响,推导了输出信号与出射电子的关系表达式,并设计了同轴收集极结构。研究结果表明,当采用合适的电路参数和同轴收集极,微通道板输出信号的上升时间约为280 ps,时间宽度约500ps,能够满足超快带电粒子测量的需求。

【Abstract】 The microchannel plate is a two-dimensional continuous electron image energy doubling electric vacuum device.It is composed of millions of channels with continuous electron doubling ability arranged regularly.The two ends of the channels are usually coated with metal film to form input and output electrodes.Because of its compact structure, small size and fast time response,and its sensitivity to most charged particles,some energetic particles and short-wave photons,the ultrafast time response can be obtained by directly measuring particles with microchannel plate.In order to work properly,the microchannel plate usually needs appropriate voltage.In this paper,the backend circuit of the microchannel plate is studied, the influence of the parameters of resistors and capacitors on the output signal of the microchannel board is analyzed,the relationship between the output signal and the outgoing electrons is deduced,and the coaxial collector structure is designed.The results show that when appropriate circuit parameters and coaxial collector are used,the rise time and the time width of the output signal of microchannel board are about 280 ps and 500 ps,which can meet the needs of ultra-fast charged particle measurement.
