热离子能量转换器用含氧接收极的研究

【摘要】 采用含氧接收极(OCC)能够有效提高热离子能量转换器(TEC)的热电转换特性和转换效率,因此针对OCC的具体作用机制以及影响其作用效果的参数进行了调查研究。结果表明,OCC在高温下吸附铯会在其表面形成一种特殊的金属-氧-铯系统,该系统相比金属-铯系统具有更高的稳定性和更低的功函数;影响OCC作用效果的因素主要有基体材料、加氧方式、含氧量和工作温度等,在其制备过程中要选择能够获得较低功函数值,且能有效发挥氧作用提高TEC转换特性的材料和制备方法;另外,活性过渡族金属是一类新型的OCC,当匹配合适的发射极时能够得到较优异的热电转换特性,可作为高效TEC的一个研究方向。
【Abstract】 As the conversion characteristics and efficiency of thermionic energy converter(TEC) can be improved effectively by using the oxygen-containing collectors(OCC),the specific mechanism of the OCC and the parameters affecting its effect were investigated and studied.The results show that a special metal-oxygen-cesium system will be formed on surface of the OCC when it adsorbs cesium at high temperature,and this system has higher stability and lower work function as compared with the metal-cesium system.The factors such as matrix material,oxygen-adding method,oxygen content and working temperature will affect the effect of OCC,thus in the preparation process the materials and fabrication methods which can obtain lower work function value and can effectively exert the role of oxygen to improve the conversion characteristics of TEC should be selected.In addition,as a new type of OCC,active transition metals can obtain excellent thermoelectric conversion characteristics when matching the appropriate emitter,which can be considered as a research direction of the high-efficiency TEC.
