碳纤维表面修饰Ni、Cu电镀层对其拉伸性能的影响

【摘要】 为研究金属镀层对碳纤维(Cf)拉伸性能的影响,首先通过电化学法制备镀Ni碳纤维、镀Cu碳纤维及Ni/Cu双镀层修饰碳纤维,测定不同纤维的单丝拉伸强度,并通过Weibull理论对数据进行统计分析。利用XRD和SEM分别研究了碳纤维表面不同镀层的物相及其表面形貌,并利用附带原位拉伸实验仪的SEM研究了拉伸过程中镀层形貌变化及复合丝断口形貌。结果表明,Ni/Cu双镀层修饰纤维(Cf/Ni/Cu)复合丝拉伸强度σfw)比Cf分别提高10%,明显高于镀Cu碳纤维(Cf/Cu)、镀Ni碳纤维(Cf/Ni)的提高率,且分散性更小;Cf/Ni/Cu复合丝在拉伸过程Cu、Ni断口平齐,镀层与Cf结合较好;750℃Ar气氛保护下热处理1h后Cf/Ni/Cu复合丝镀层球化,且复合丝强度分散性比未处理Cf/Ni/Cu降低20%,但强度基本无变化。

【Abstract】 to study the effects of metal coatings on the tensile properties of carbon fibers,the nickel coatings,copper coatings and Ni/Cu coating was electroplating on the surface of carbon fiber.The tensile strength of single filaments was analyzed by the Weibull statistical method.The morphology and the phase composition of the Ni coating were characterized by SEM and XRD respectively.The in-situ tensile process of the nickel-coated carbon fibers was checked by SEM as well.Results show that the tensile strength of Ni/Cu-coated carbon fibers was about 10% higher than that of uncoated Cf,which has a large rate than that of Cu coated carbon fiber(Cf/Cu)and Ni coated carbon fiber(Cf/Ni),and the results of tensile strength has the lowest dispersion.No delamination of metal coating occurs during the tensile process,which can be attributed to the stronger bonding strength between Cu and Cf because of the presence of Ni coating.The Ni/Cu coatings were spheroidized after annealed at 750℃ for 1 h under argon atmosphere,and the dispersion of tensile strength of Ni/Cu-coated carbon fibers was lower than that of Ni/Cu-coated carbon fibers without heat treatment,while the tensile strength had no obvious change.
