基于TDC的激光测风雷达数据采集门控系统

【摘要】 单纵模激光具有相干性好、线宽窄、频率稳定等优点,因此在激光雷达上获得了广泛的应用。为了获得高功率的单纵模激光,通常需要单纵模种子光注入。针对激光测风雷达种子光注入,本文提出了利用TDC来鉴别种子光注入锁定成功,并对外输出高脉冲触发采集卡采集数据。本文采用低成本的cycloneI系列FPGA芯片,实现了182ps的时间分辨率。测量表明,该系统达到了既定的物理目标,可以满足实际应用。
【Abstract】 Single longitudinal mode laser, which has lots of advantages such as good coherence, narrow line width, stable frequency, is widely applied in the field of Lidar. Usually, seed light injection is used to get high-power single longitudinal mode laser. This paper introduces a gating system for data acquisition based on TDC to identify whether the seed light injection is successful for wind lidar, and output a pulse on condition that the seed light injection is successful to trigger data acquisition to acquire data. The low-cost Cyclone I FPGA is adopted to achieve 182 ps time resolution. The test result shows that this system can reach the established physical target and be applied into practice.
