基于静电相互作用和动态共价键制备智能响应胶体体系

【摘要】 学术界对于刺激响应型胶体体系的兴趣已经持续了数十年,其中又以环境敏感型智能响应材料最受关注。利用静电相互作用和动态共价键可以得到一系列具有刺激响应性质的颗粒分散体系、乳液、泡沫及溶剂等。与常规的共价键相比,我们利用静电相互作用和动态共价键制备的胶体体系对CO2或pH具有高度的响应性。相应地,在CO2或pH刺激下这些体系会发生亲疏水性的变化,这种变化可用于制备具有开/关性质的颗粒分散体系、乳液、泡沫及溶剂等,从而避免了破乳剂、消泡剂等的使用,并且胶体体系的开/关性可以在CO2或pH刺激下多次可逆发生。上述优势可以有效降低处理胶体体系的成本,符合绿色化学的理念。

【Abstract】 Interest in stimuli-responsive colloid system has persisted over many decades, and a great deal of work has been dedicated to developing such environmentally sensitive intelligent responsive materials. In particular, we focused mainly on the stimuli responsive nanoparticle suspensions, emulsions, foams, and solvents. Electrostatic interactions and dynamic covalent bonds are introduced to endow the stimuli-responsive character for the smart colloid system. Differing from the "permanent" covalent bonds, electrostatic interactions and dynamic covalent bonds can be highly responsive to CO2 or pH. Thus the hydrophilicity switch can be achieved under external stimulus. The switchable hydrophilicity is used to achieve the on/off properties of nanoparticle suspensions, emulsions, foams, and solvents,thus conventional destabilizing method including centrifuging, adding demulsifer or defoamer can be avoid. More interestingly, the switchable systems proposed by us can be turned on/off reversibly without any loss. These advantages will reduce the cost when dealing with these colloid systems.
