m TOR cell signaling pathway contributes to the protective effects of ischemic postconditioning against stroke

【摘要】 <正>Introduction:Ischemic postconditioning(IPost C)provides protective effect against focal ischemia and improves neurological deficits.Whether the m TOR pathway is protective or detrimental in brain injury induced by stroke is controversial,and whether it is involved in the protective effects of ischemic postconditioning against stroke has not been reported.We report that m TOR contributes to neuronal survival in vitro,in a neuronal culture,as well as in vivo,in stroke brains receiving IPostC.
