IDP-690卫星通讯模块在海洋浮标中的应用

【摘要】 针对现阶段海洋浮标双向通信能力差、难以远程维护的缺陷,设计了基于海事卫星通讯终端IDP-690的海洋浮标。IDP-690通讯终端采用第四代海事卫星系统的IsatData Pro数据服务,具有通讯速率快、性价比高的优点。该终端还可以嵌入用户编写的程序脚本,可进一步提高海洋浮标的灵活性和可靠性。通过用户/服务商与海洋浮标之间的双向通信和准实时监控,便于对海洋浮标进行维护和远程管理。测试结果表明,IDP-690通讯终端可以全天候、全天时工作,并且有传输速率高,通讯费用低的优点,其消息延迟视不同的工作模式有所不同,分别为8 s和1 min17 s左右。
【Abstract】 Aiming at the poor bidirectional communications capability and difficult to maintain remotely on present marine buoy, the new buoy based on Inmarsat communications terminal IDP-690 is designed. The IDP-690 communication terminal use the fourth-generation maritime satellite system’s data services named IsatData Pro.The IsatData Pro is a global, two-way messaging service, optimized for machine-to-machine communications.The IDP-690 is embedded programmable microcontroller with customizable applications,so the flexibility and reliability of marine buoys can be further improved. Through the two-way communication and quasi-real-time monitoring between the user/service provider and the buoy, it is convenient for the maintenance and remote management of the marine buoy. The test results show that the IDP-690 terminal can work all-weather and all-day, and has the advantage of higher communicating speed and low communication costs.
