EAST中子伽马辐射剂量监测

【摘要】 托卡马克聚变实验会释放大量硬X射线和中子,中子可能使周边一些材料活化产生次生伽马射线,因此在装置的周围通常需要采用足够厚的钢筋混凝土墙来保证射线不致泄露到环境中。聚变装置中子伽马辐射剂量监测将验证这些防护措施的可靠性和有效性,为实验人员维护仪器设备和参加实验提供必要的辐射安全防护数据;同时可以为以后聚变堆辐射安全标准制订储备实验经验。利用多点布置的在线辐射剂量监测系统和移动式辐射剂量监测仪、热释光剂量片等对放电期间EAST周边辐射剂量监测,多套系统采取数据交叉对比保证数据自洽。在线监测系统每个点分别布置一个中子和一个伽马剂量仪对同一点的中子、伽马累计剂量、剂量率进行监测。实验间隙利用HPGe伽马谱仪对EAST装置活化进行测量,找到了几种活化核素。

【Abstract】 Tokamak fusion experiment will release a lot of X-rays and neutrons,neutron activation of some surrounding materials may produce gamma rays,so usually it is necessary to use sufficiently thick concrete walls to keep the rays from leaking into the environment.The monitoring of neutrongamma radiation dose of the fusion device aims to verify the reliability and effectiveness of these preventive measures so as to provide necessary radiation safety and protection data for researchers and equipment maintenance;as well as to develop experience for setting radiation safety standards.Multipoint arrangement of online radiation dose monitoring system,mobile radiation dose monitor and TLD are used to monitor radiation dose around the EAST during the discharge.Data crosscomparison is adopted in many systems to ensure data consistency.Each spot on the online monitoring systems is arranged a neutron and gamma ray dosemeters,to monitor the neutron,gamma cumulative dose and dose rate at the same point respectively.At experimental intervals HPGe gamma-ray spectrometer was used to measure EAST device activation and find several activation radionuclides.
