不同物理分级方法对甜玉米种子生活力和活力的影响

【摘要】 甜玉米种子因其含糖量高、淀粉积累少,加上组织结构疏松,收获后种子活力下降快,并且甜玉米丧失种用价值后一般没有转商价值,会产生很大的经济损失。本试验采用不同的物理分级方法,对5个甜玉米品种的种子(‘浙甜2088’、‘浙凤甜2号’、‘金银818’、‘科甜2号’、‘甜玉2012-3’)进行了精选分级,并测定了分级后不同级别种子的发芽指标和生理生化指标。结果表明,比重液法和风选法均能通过对种子分级得到高活力种子,当分级种子发芽率提高10%左右时可留下约50%的种子量;同一品种种子随着分级级别的提高,种子生活力和活力均明显提高,与其对应的可溶性糖含量、淀粉含量、抗氧化酶活力和α-淀粉酶活性都有所提高。本次试验同时表明,当甜玉米陈种子发芽率下降幅度较小时,通过比重液法和风选法进行种子精选分级,可选出种用达标的甜玉米种子,同时也提高了种子批的活力,从而减少转商损失。

【Abstract】 Because of their high sugar content,low starch accumulation,and loose organizational structure,vigor of sweet corn seeds will decrease a lot after harvest,and after they lose their breeding utilization values,sweet corn seeds generally can’t be used for commercial purposes,which can cause great economic losses.In this experiment,the seeds of five sweet corn varieties(’Zhetian2088’,’Zhefengtian2’,’Jinyin818’,’Ketian2’,Tianyu2012-3’) were graded by different physical selection methods.Subsequently,germination indexes and physiological and biochemical indicators were measured.The results showed that both the pycnometer method and the wind sifting method could select seeds that had high vigor,and that 50%seeds could be left when germination rate of graded seeds was increased by 10%.Moreover,with the improvement of classification level,seed viability and vigor were significantly improved in the same cultivar.At the same time,the corresponding contents of soluble sugar and starch,antioxidant enzyme activity and α-amylase activity were improved.This experiment also showed that when the germination rates of aged sweet corn seeds decreased slightly,the sweet corn seeds that reached breeding utilization standard could be distinguished by precise seed grading using the pycnometer method and the wind sifting method,which improved the vigor of seed batch and reduced the loss of economy.
