42CrMo法兰表面裂纹分析

【摘要】 本文对42CrMo钢法兰盘工件表面裂纹进行了分析,为了查找原因以及提出改进措施,对其进行化学成分、气体分析和金相检验分析、电镜形貌以及能谱分析。初步判断42CrMo工件的裂纹是热处理过程形成的。进一步通过淬火实验验证裂纹形貌与法兰盘的裂纹形貌相似。法兰工件裂纹为淬火裂纹,其产生原因为淬火冷却方式不当,需改善冷却方式以防止裂纹出现。

【Abstract】 ;The mechanism of cracks on the surface of 42 CrMo steel flange was investigated by the analysis of chemical compositions and gas contents and microstructure characterization with scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and electron probe microanalysis(EPMA).The experimental results show the cracks should be formed during quenching after heat treatment.Addiontial quenching experiment was performed to simulate the formation of cracks in the steel,suggesting that the morphology of simulated cracks is similar to that in flange.It is concluded that the cracks of flange is formed during quenching,resulting from rapid cooling in the cooling medium.Therefore,we suggest that a relatively slow cooling should be used to eliminate cracks in steel flanges.
