TVS二极管标称参数与静电放电防护能力研究

【摘要】 随着静电放电问题受到越来越多的重视,ESD保护器件的应用也越来越广泛。由于TVS二极管具有非线性导电特性,可以作为ESD防护器件使用。但TVS技术手册中给出的标称参数是在指数波形下获得的,不能直观有效地反映其ESD防护能力。本文设计了一套ESD测试方法,并对TVS器件进行系统测试,对比分析TVS标称电压、标称功率等参数与其静电放电防护能力的关系,并建立了TVS的ESD参数与标称参数的关系曲线,可以对TVS的ESD防护能力进行预估。为工程师在选取TVS作为静电防护器件时提供参考。
【Abstract】 With electrostatic discharge issues have received more and more attention,the application of ESD protection devices are getting more widely.Transient voltage suppressor diode can be used as a ESD protection,Because of its nonlinear electrical properties.However,the nominal parameters cannot reflect the ESD protection ability effectively since they are given in the technical manual TVS is obtained under the exponential waveform.This paper presents a method for ESD testing,with which TVS devices are tested systematically.The relationships of electrostatic discharge protection ability and nominal parameter like nominal power and voltage are analyzed.Furthermore,the relation curves of ESD parameters and the nominal parameter are established.With those curves,the ESD protection ability can be estimated directly.As a result,a series of work in this paper provide a reference for engineers in selecting TVS as ESD protection devices.
