【Abstract】 With the coming of the Transition Period of independent colleges as raised by Decree No. 26 of Ministry of Education, independent colleges integrating their scientific researches into local economic and social development will be an important tendency. This paper analyzes the features and existing problems of scientific researches in independent colleges, and argues that they should improve research management system,consolidate research foundation,construct disciplines and serve the local area, thereby seeking development in the new period.更多还原
