【Abstract】 This paper describes the definition of "enhancement" and "treatment" in China’s national standard for gems.Gems received irradiation exposure are called "treated gems".The paper explains device type of common irradiation exposure in China,principle of coloration,artificial radioactivity after radiation exposure,and radioactivity of the safety standards prescribed by the state.The paper also lists some colored gems with the irradiation treatment in China,such as topaz,tourmaline,aquamarine,pearl,etc.更多还原
