一种脉冲粒子束能谱测量的光学方法研究

【摘要】 为探索解决脉冲粒子束能谱测量难题,本文研究提出了一种基于光学成像的粒子束能谱测量方法。利用CCD相机记录带电粒子束激发气体闪烁体的发光图像,由图像反演求解入射粒子束的能谱分布。我们搭建了一套原型的实验系统,获得了清晰的质子束激发Ar+CF4气体闪烁体发光图像。建立了由图像反演能谱的数学模型,将能谱反演问题转化为最小二乘问题求解。基于蒙卡模拟数据和实验图像,成功反演了高斯连续谱分布和分立质子束的能谱,反演结果与期望值和真实谱分布吻合得很好。该方法的研究为当前和未来热核聚变脉冲中子能谱测量探索了一条新的技术途径。
【Abstract】 To solve the problem of pulsed beam energy spectrum measurement,we propose a new method based on optical images.We capture the scintillation images of gas scintillator which is excited by charged-particle beams.Then energy spectrum is unfolded from these scintillation images.We built a prototype experimental system and obtained clear scintillation images of Ar+CF4 at the end of proton tracks.Taking the scintillation curve along the proton incident direction as a characteristic vector,we build a mathematical model for energy spectrum unfolding.Then the unfolding problem is translated into a least-square problem.The unfolded results of Gaussian and discrete energy spectrum from Monte-Carlo simulation data and the experimental scintillation image consist well with the real data.This new method develops a new technical approach for pulsed neutron energy spectrum measurement.
