【Abstract】 ovarian poor response to gonadotropin stimulation,low number of oocytes retrieved and low pregnant rate are the commonly problems physicians faced during IVF treatment.Due to the lack of commonly accepted diagnosis criteria regarding ovarian poor response,the clinical researches are lack of comparability,and it is difficult to decide which treatment options are more effective for improving the ovarian poor response.Therefore, it is an urgent need to establish the well accepted international definition of ovarian poor response.The ESHRE published the ESHRE consensus on the definition of ’poor response’ to ovarian stimulation for in vitro fertilization: the Bologna criteria,which made it possible for comparing various study results and reaching a credible conclusion.
