【摘要】 积极效应是老年人特有的一种对积极信息选择性注意的表现,目前在老年心理学领域是最为热点的研究主题。社会情绪选择理论认为,随着年龄的增加,个体会越来越感到未来时间的有限,从而更加关注积极情绪。作为积极效应的另一种表现形式,越来越多的研究发现,随着年龄的增加,或在其他一些有限未来时间知觉的情境中,个体的情绪体验也会更加复杂,即他们会同时感觉到较多的正性和负性情绪。本研究从认知的角度考察了复杂情绪效应,及其可能的年龄差异。本研究考察了年轻人、中年人及老年人对不同情绪图片(高兴、生气、害怕及悲伤)的注意及记忆。实验材料采用了Isaacowitz等人(2006)的表情图片,被试的注意偏好采用眼动技术进行测量,即在情绪和中性图片对中,被试观看时间的相对长度。在被试完成眼动任务15分钟后,再进行一项再认任务。结果显示老年被试确实出现了复杂情绪效应,从注意角度,相比于中性图片他们会更多关注正性和负性图片,从记忆角度,他们对正性和负性图片的记忆效果要好于年轻及中年被试。同时,记忆复杂情绪效应的年龄差异受到了注意复杂情绪效应的中介,即更多关注正性和负性情绪图片会导致老年人对正性和负性图片的记忆效果更好。本研究从注意和记忆两个层面验证了积极效应的另一种表现形式——复杂情绪效应,同时验证了注意和记忆积极效应的相互关系,回答了"积极效应作用"的问题。为积极效应研究提出了新的研究方向。更多还原

【Abstract】 Socioemotional selectivity theory postulates that with age,people perceive time as increasingly more limited and are more likely to experience emotion poignancy – the coexistence of positive and negative emotions.Applied to cognition,this emotional poignancy may take the form of cognitive poignancy,i.e.,superior attention to and processing of both positive and negative stimuli,relative to neutral stimuli,with age.We tested this hypothesis by examining memory for emotional(happy,sad,fearful,angry) and neutral facial expressions among younger,middle-aged and older Chinese,and the linkage between attention poignancy and memory poignancy.Findings provided the first evidence that memory poignancy existed among older adults,such that compared with younger adults,older adults remembered both positive and negative facial expressions more than neutral ones.Moreover,such age difference in memory poignancy wasmediated by attention poignancy,supporting the idea that poignancy occurs at different levels of cognition among older adults.更多还原
