【Abstract】 The first part of this article describes some special linguistic phenomena that have emerged in the process of China’s urbanization,including speech islands of "work units" or urban regions using the standard national language or dialects of other regions.The second part of the paper discusses the influencing social factors,including the government planned economy,the work unit phenomenon,the dual economy and social structure,and the large-scale planned industrial migrants in the course of China’s industrialization and urbanization.The third part of the article discusses some methods and principles for the research of China’s urban speech islands.更多还原
