【摘要】 用Raman光谱方法研究碳纳米管对H2的吸附特性,得到一些有意义的结果。

【Abstract】 Raman spectra of the H2 /K0 -MWCNTs adsorption system were taken in region of 500-5 000 cm-1 with an UV-Vis Raman System.The observed strong Raman bands at 1 580 and 1 416 cm-1 could be attributed to the fundamental frequency modes E2g and D(induced by defects) of the MWCNTs,analogous to those of graphite,and the bands at 2 832,2 996,3 160 cm-1 and the region of 4 410-4 422 cm-1 may be due to their second and third-order combination frequencies:2D,D+ E2g,2E2g,and 2D+ E2g,respectively. It was experimentally demonstrated that adsorption of H2 on the K0-MWCNTs at room temperature could occur in associative and dissociative forms,and the observed Raman bands at 2 856,3 228 and 3 946 cm-1 could be assigned to vs(C—H) for CH2,v (C—H) for CH and v(H—H) for H2(a),respectively,and that the modification of metallic potassium to the MWCNTs resulted not only in a significant increase in intensity of the Raman bands associated with surface hydrogen-containing adspecies,CHx(x = 3,2, 1) and H2(a),but also in a red-shift of 18 cm-1(from 3 960 cm-1 to 3 942 cm-1) for H—H stretching of H2(a) adspecies,which could be understood considering that the modification of metallic potassium to the MWCNTs substrate enhanced the tendency of backdonating electron from the MWCNTs to the empty antibonding-orbitalσ* of molecularly adsorbed H2(a),thereby further decreasing the bonding-order of the H—H bond.
