【Abstract】 Pyrene excimer fluorescence emission in aqucous solution of sodium p-dodecylphenytsutfonate. (SUPS) was observed,and a maximum was found in the curve of the ratio of fluorescence intensity of excimer to that of monomer vs.SDPS concentrstion.The coiling of long alkyl chain in SDPS molecule in aqueous solution,which provided a hydrophobic microenvironment for strong hydrophobic pyrene to occupy and in turn resulted in a high local concentration of pyrene,leading to the observation of pyrene excimer fluorescene emission, was proposed.The described results could also be used in investigation of surfactant micettization process and in determination of the critical micellar concentration of surfactant.更多还原
