权变视角下企业网络位置与产品创新绩效关系的实证研究

【摘要】 在产品创新过程中,网络中心位置和网络中介位置对产品创新绩效都有着重要的影响,但究竟哪一种网络位置模式对企业产品创新更加有利仍存在大量争论。从权变视角出发,同时引入技术战略导向和市场动态性两个调节变量分析两种网络位置模式对产品创新绩效的权变效应有可能破解这个选择难题。通过对浙江省208家制造企业样本的实证研究发现,两种网络位置模式对产品创新绩效都有正向影响,且企业技术战略导向越高,这种正向效应越显著;市场动态性越高,网络中介位置对产品绩效的正向效应越显著,但市场动态性对网络中心位置与产品创新绩效关系负向调节作用不显著。研究结论不仅明确了不同网络位置模式发挥效用的具体情境,也为企业选择合适的网络位置以有效地进行产品创新提供了有益启示。

【Abstract】 Both prominent network position and entrepreneurial network position play an important role on product innovation performance in the product innovation process,however,there are a lot of debates on which network position mode is more beneficial to product innovation on earth.It is possible to settle the puzzle if we introduce the two moderate variables including technology-oriented strategy and market dynamism to analyze the two network position mode contingent effects on product innovation performance.Through the empirical study on 208 manufacturing firms in Zhejiang province,the paper find that both network position modes have positive effects on product innovation performance,and the higher the firm’s technology-oriented strategy is,the more significant the positive effects;the higher the market dynamism is,the more significant the entrepreneurial network position positive effects on product innovation performance,but the market dynamism negative moderate effects on the relationship between prominent network position and product innovation performance is not significant.The research conclusions not only make it clear that the detailed context of utility of different network position mode,but also provide beneficial implication of choosing appropriate network position to conduct product innovation effectively for firms.
