采用量子级联激光器测量汽油车和柴油车尾气中的CO和NO含量

【摘要】 机动车尾气中的主要成分一氧化碳(CO)和一氧化氮(NO)不仅污染环境,对人体也有直接危害。汽油车和柴油车由于使用燃料不同,发动机结构、混合气形成方式和燃烧方式不同,其CO和NO浓度特征也不同。了解汽油车和柴油车排放的CO和NO浓度信息有利于城市污染控制和车辆管理。由于CO和NO在中红外波段有强吸收,适合采用红外激光吸收光谱技术进行检测。量子级联激光器因具有宽的调谐范围、高的输出功率,并且能够在室温下工作而成为中红外光谱技术的理想光源。介绍了一种基于室温脉冲量子级联激光器测量CO和NO的检测方法和装置,该装置采用了双激光器光路系统因而可实现CO和NO的同步检测;与多次反射池相结合,因而精度高而且响应速度快。对汽油车和柴油车尾气中的CO和NO进行了检测,结果显示出二者明显的差异。
【Abstract】 Carbon monoxide(CO) and nitric oxide(NO) are main emssions in motor vehicle exhaust.They are not only environmental pollutions,but also harmful to human body.Gasoline and diesel vehicles have different characteristics of CO and NO concentrations due to different fuels,engine structure,mixture formation and combustion mode.Understanding the gasoline and diesel vehicle emissions of CO and NO is of benefit to urban pollution control and vehicle management.Since CO and NO have strong absorption in infrared wavelength,they are suitable for high sensitive absorption spectra.The quantum cascade (QC) laser,with the advantages of high power,wide tuning range and room-temperature operating conditions,is one of the ideal mid-infrared sources developed in these years.A set of apparatus for the direct absorption measurement of CO and NO with the room-temperature pulsed QC lasers has been introduced.The technology combing two QC lasers in the range of 2190cm-1 and 1900 cm-1 thus realizes the simultaneously detection of CO and NO,and the long-path multipass cell satisfies the need for the sensitivity,selectivity and rapid response.Gasoline and diesel vehicles emissons have been detected,they have obvious difference in CO and NO concentrations.
