【摘要】 本文综述了现今的鲎及类鲎化石的分布,结果发现,现地球上仅存四种鲎,一种美洲鲎分布于北美东海岸;另外三种,即中国鲎、圆尾鲎和南方鲎分布于亚洲东部及东南亚一带狭窄的海域。类鲎化石分布于欧洲、亚洲、北美洲、南美洲和大洋洲。欧洲的鲎化石于晚泥盆纪、晚石炭纪、二叠纪、晚侏罗纪,分布于英国、德国、法国、俄罗斯及乌克兰,约有14种;北美洲的鲎化石于志留纪、二叠纪、侏罗纪,位于美国和加拿大,约17种;南美洲玻利维亚早泥盆纪有一种;亚洲的类鲎于石炭纪、三叠纪,分布于中国和韩国,约有4种。澳大利亚于晚泥盆纪、晚二叠纪、三叠纪、早白垩纪有分布,约有7种。更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper summarizes the distribution of horseshoe crab and it’s fossils.The results showed that,there are only four species of horseshoe crab in the present earth.Limulus polyphemus lives in the east coast of America;other three species are Tachypleus tridentatus, T.gigas and.Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda live in area of the east and southeast of Asia.The fossils of horseshoe crab distributed in Europe,Asia,Northern America,South America and Australia. The fossils of Europe have located in late Devonian,Permian,late Carboniferous,late Jurassic, and distributed in Britain,Germany,France,Russia and Ukraine,about 14 kinds;fossils of North America,have located in late Ordovician,Silurian,late Devonian,Carboniferous,Permian, Jurassic,and distributed in the United States and Canada about 17 kinds;there is one kind of fossil in early Devonian of Bolivia,South America;the fossils of Asia have located in Carboniferous, Triassic,and distributed in China and South Korea,about four kinds;the fossils of Australia have located in late Devonian,late Permian Triassic and early Cretaceous,about 7 kinds.更多还原
