棉花雄性不育系亚比A花器形态和细胞学观察

【摘要】 采用形态指标测定和石蜡切片等方法,对棉花细胞质雄性不育系亚比A及其保持系亚比B进行了花器形态及细胞学观察。结果表明:亚比A与亚比B花器形态差异比较明显;亚比A的败育时期主要在造孢细胞期至减数分裂细线期前,其败育特征:败育迹象起始于造孢细胞期,造孢细胞粘连,无核仁,部分已解体,未解体造孢细胞发育成的小孢子母细胞中核仁消失,在减数分裂细线期前完全解体,而绒毡层细胞延迟发育,且与中层细胞在整个花药发育过程中不降解,这些异常现象导致最终形成无花粉粒的花粉囊。绒毡层细胞延迟发育可能是引起亚比A小孢子败育的主要原因。

【Abstract】 The study involved morphological and anatomic characters of the new male sterile materials Yabi A and its maintainer Yabi B by means of optical microscopy and measurement of morphological parameter.The difference on floral organ morphology between Yabi A and Yabi B were obvious;Microspore abortion of Yabi A occurred mainly in the stage from sporogenouscell to leptotene before.In the microscopic structure,the abortion indications of linked,no nucleolus sporogenous cell and part of them dissolved were observed in the sporogenous cell stage,not disintegrated sporogenous cell developed into microsporocyte,then its nucleus disappeared,and completely disintegrated before the meiosis leptotene stage,Comparing with the tapetal cells of the fertile line,the tapetal cells in the sterile line were delayed development,both the tapetal cells and middle layer cells were not collapsed in the whole process of anther development,the pollen sac without pollen grains formed finally.The main reason leading to male sterility of Yabi A may be the delayed development of the tapetal cells.
