【Abstract】 The concept,function and character of GIS were introduced,and the application areas and development of GIS were summarized too.The present situation of GIS application in agriculture,including agricultural resource research and management,cropland regionalization,assessment of land suitability,agro-environment investigation,prediction of plant diseases,estimation of crop yield and precision agriculture were reviewed.Moreover,the importance and limiting factors,the new development trends and the importance of GIS application in agriculture were also discussed.更多还原
