昆嵛山腮扁叶蜂取食行为如何影响赤松枝条生长?

【摘要】 食叶害虫取食对寄主生长的影响及其在森林生态系统中的作用,一直以来都是生态学研究的热点之一。本文依托昆嵛山森林生态定位观察站40块永久性样地,以昆嵛山腮扁叶蜂虫口密度代表为害程度,比较了赤松枝条受到不同取食行为后的生长差异、并比较不同样地赤松林分2006—2008年的平均胸径生长量的差异,从中评判昆嵛山腮扁叶蜂为害对赤松林分的局部与整体影响。不同取食类型下的赤松当年生枝条长度差异显著(F1,7=2.422,p=0.02)、同时生长率差异也达到显著水平(F1,7=2.439,p=0.019)。从为害类型看,赤松枝条当年的生长不受当年昆嵛山腮扁叶蜂取食的影响,但受前一年昆嵛山腮扁叶蜂取食影响:即当前一年虫口密度较大时,赤松枝条的生长受到一定的抑制,反之则影响不大。腮扁叶蜂连续为害两年即会严重降低赤松当年生枝条生长量。虽然腮扁叶蜂的取食对赤松枝条的生长有着一定的影响,但通过对比2006年和2008年赤松胸径,赤松胸径在不同虫口密度为害下,生长率没有显著差异。这说明昆嵛山腮扁叶蜂为害对树木生长的影响是局部而非整体,仅从对赤松枝条的生长上难以评判其对林分生长的影响。

【Abstract】 Impact of herbivory insect on host growth and its function on forest ecosystem process are one of focuses in ecology researches.In this paper,current year shoot length of Japanese red pine(Pinus densiflora) was compared on basis of various feeding modes by Kunyushan spinning sawfly(Cephalcia kunyushanica).Increment of diameter at breast height(DBH) from 2006 to 2008 of Japanese red pine was compared among stands under using larval density to represent severity of attacks by sawfly.Current year shoot length under different feeding modes was significantly different(F1,7=2.422,p=0.02) and so did the growth rate(F1,7=2.439,p=0.019).Growth of current year shoot was not affected by current year feeding while was affected by last year’s feeding.Current year shoot suffered significant length reduction when it had previously experienced high intensities of two successive herbivore attack last year and the year before. However,increment of DBH in various stands under different sawfly severities showed no significantly difference.This indicated that infestations of sawfly may have obvious impact on shoot growth while it might have little affection on persistence of whole pine stands.Thus,it is difficult to judge affection of sawfly infestation on pine stands only by pine shoot growth.
