过模高功率毫米波源的输出模式分析
Analysis of Output Mode from Overmoded High-power Millimeter Wave Source

【摘要】 针对基于过模表面波振荡器的2mm高功率脉冲波源,本文完成了输出模式的理论分析和初步的实验诊断。首先根据2.5维PIC(Particle-in-cell)软件UNIPIC的电场模拟结果,采用纵向场分解法,分析了输出毫米波的模式成份,给出了各模式的功率比例和瞬时相位。然后采用图像显示法诊断了脉冲波辐射近场的能量分布。通过诊断图像得到的分析结果与前面的模拟分析结果符合的很好。本文的方法对过模高功率切伦科夫发生器的输出模式分析具有很好的应用价值。
【Abstract】 For 2 mm high-power pulse source based on overmoded surface-wave oscillator,the theoretical analysis and preliminary experimental diagnosis of its output mode are completed in this paper.At first,according to the results of electric fields simulated by 2.5 dimensional PIC code-UNIPIC,the mode content of output millimeter wave is analyzed using longitudinal field-expansion method,to give the power ratio and instantaneous phase of each mode.Then the image-displaying method is used to diagnose the near field energy distribution of the output pulse. The mode analysis results from the diagnostic picture agree well with simulation results.The methods used here have great benefit to the analysis of output mode from overmoded high-power Cherenkov generators.
