三元乙丙橡胶辐射交联发泡的工艺研究

【摘要】 采用辐射交联、模压发泡的方法制备EPDM泡沫,使硫化与发泡分步进行,避免了传统发泡过程硫化速率与发泡速率匹配的问题。研究了吸收剂量、发泡剂用量对EPDM泡沫结构与性能的影响,并利用扫描电镜观察制品的结构。结果表明,随着吸收剂量的增加,泡孔密度增加,孔径减小,泡沫密度先减少后增加,在20 kGy时出现极小值,而拉伸强度和断裂伸长率均逐渐增加,并且在20~30 kGy增加明显。发泡剂用量达到6份时,泡孔密度和孔径明显增加,泡沫密度和断裂伸长率出现极小值。当发泡温度为175℃、发泡时间4 min、吸收剂量20 kGy、发泡剂用量6份时,制品的泡孔比较均匀,力学性能较好。

【Abstract】 Ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM) foam was prepared by radiation cross-linking and molding foaming, which made the vulcanization and foaming separately,avoiding the matching problem of vulcanization and foaming rates in the traditional foaming process.The effect of foaming temperature and foaming time on foam density was investigated, and the influence of AC5000(blowing agent) content and the absorbed dose on the structure and properties was discussed, SEM was used to observe the foam structure of the product,the results showed that with the increase of absorbed dose, bubble density increased,the cell diameter decreased,and the foam density declined to the minimun when absorbed dose was 20 kGy.Both the tensile strength and the elongation at break increased with the increase of absorbed dose,and increased greatly between 20 kGy and 30 kGy.When AC5000 content was 6 phr,foam density and the cell diameter obviously increased,the foam density and the elongation at break reached the minimum.When the foaming temperature was 175℃, foaming time was 4 min,AC5000 content was 6 phr,absorbed dose was 20 kGy,the product had uniform foam cell and good mechanical properties.
