条带束流位置检测器四极分量的标定

【摘要】 合肥光源(HLS)直线加速器(LINAC)的条带电极束流位置检测器(BPM)在安装前进行了四极分量的标定,以减小加工等误差对后期发射度和能散测量的影响。标定时,向天线馈入高频信号以仿真束流通过BPM时产生的电磁场信号;通过天线与BPM的相对移动来仿真束流横向位置的变化;采用二维网格结构高斯加权的方法来模拟不同尺寸的高斯分布束流。同步记录天线的位置和BPM四路电信号,处理数据得到了电中心相对于机械中心的偏移、BPM的位置灵敏度和四极分量灵敏度等参数。通过对多组电信号和位置信号的处理拟合出了机械位置(x,y)与对数比电位置信号(U,V)的相关多项式和四极分量Qlog-ratio关于σx2y2和束流中心位置(x0,y0)以及它们高次项的经验公式。

【Abstract】 The mapping of the strip-line BPM before installed in the HLS LINAC,will reduce the influence of the emittance and energy spread measurement causing by the mismachining tolerance,etc.The principle of the calibration is that:to simulate the beam signal by feed the RF signal in the straightening antenna,to simulate the beam horizontal position changing by make relative motion between the antenna and the BPM,and to simulate the Gaussian beam with different dimensions by do the Gaussian-weighting with data at two-dimensional grid.After simultaneously recording the antenna position and the four electrical signals from the BPM and processing the data,the offset between electrical center and the mechanical center,the position sensitivity and the quadrupole component sensitivity of the BPM can be got.After processing a lot of electrical signals and the corresponding position signals,the fitting polynomials of the mechanical position(x,y) and the Log-ratio electrical position signal(U,V),and the fitting formula of the quadrupole component Qlog-ratio on tneσx2y2 and the beam center position(x0,y0)as well as their high order term can be figured out.
