【Abstract】 Biodiversity plays central role in modern ecology and conservation biology.Ecological diversity is the measurement of biotic and abiotic heterogeneity in plantcommunity.Ecologicl diversity indices based on species maybe useful for cataloging taxonomic diversity in communities,Traditional diversity indices of plant communities are evaluated by taxonomic species as units.This paper las discussed five aspects of within species variation:genetic variation;phenotypic plasticity;ontogenetic diversity;sexual and gender diversity;and environmental maternal effects,which may be significantly affect the measurement of diversity inplant community.更多还原
