喜盐草的克隆生长特征研究

【摘要】 喜盐草(Halophila ovalis)是分布于热带和亚热带潮间带和潮下带的克隆草本植物,一般通过根状茎的克隆生长来占领海洋生态系统的主导地位,具有重要的生态服务功能。以广西合浦海草床为研究地点,对其优势物种喜盐草的克隆生长特征进行了研究。结果表明北暮盐场、下龙尾、沙背和英罗港海4个次海草床中的喜盐草的克隆生长特征,如克隆构型相关特征间隔子长度、节间长度和分枝角度差异显著,构件茎的直径与数量,叶的长度、宽度与干重及分株高度也存在显著差异,其中北暮盐场和下龙尾次海草床中的喜盐草生长较为松散,且分株较高,叶片较大,水平茎较粗;而4个次海草床的密度、盖度、地上部分和地下部分生物量并无显著差异,分析认为这可能是由于构件较大的次海草床生长又较为松散而造成的。

【Abstract】 Aims Halophila ovalis is clonal herbaceous plant,which live in intertidal and subtidal zone in tropical and subtropical and generally reproduce vegetatively from rhizomes to dominate in marine ecosystem.H.ovalis play important role in ecological service function.Understanding clonal growth characteristics of H.ovalis is potentially helpful for conservation and restoration of Hepu seagrass beds. Methods In December 2008 we sampled randomly from 5-9 0.25m~2 quadrats in Beimu Saltern, Xialongwei,Shabei and Yingluo Bay secondary seagrass bed respectively.For each quadrat,we estimated the coverage and measured the biomass of above-ground and below-ground.In addition, we counted the number of leaf and stem nodes and measured the spacer length,horizontal intermodal length and diameter,branching angle,shoot height,blade length and width,the wet weight and dry weight of single leaf,and made sure to achieve 10 data of each index in each quadrat. Important findings We compared the clonal growth characteristics ofH.ovalis in Beimu Saltern, Xialongwei,Shabei and Yingluo Bay secondary seagrass bed in Hepu.The results reveal that spacer length,horizontal intermodal length and diameter,branching angle,shoot height,blade length and width,the wet and dry weight of single leaf differed significantly among four secondary seagrass beds,and in Beimu Saltern and Xialongwei H.ovalis grew more loosely,and had higher shoots,larger leaves and coarser horizontal internodes.However,the density,coverage and biomass of above-ground and below-ground had no significant differences among four sites, which may resulted from larger ramets and looser growth pattern.
