中碳钢和不锈钢连铸过程凝固微观组织模拟研究

【摘要】 本文通过一种简化的数值方法模拟了钢在连铸凝固过程中的枝晶生长现象,以中碳钢S20和不锈钢AISI304为例,主要计算了枝晶生长过程中一些重要的微观组织参数。枝晶生长速率、温度梯度和冷却速率随凝固进程和坯壳生长而减小,枝晶尖端半径和二次枝晶臂间距则随着凝固的不断进行距弯月面和铸坯表面距离的增长而增加;拉速的提高导致二次枝晶臂间距的粗化和枝晶尖端半径的增大。两种钢种的微观组织参数比较表明不锈钢因其特殊组分和凝固特性,其微观参数均比碳钢小。

【Abstract】 The general aim of this work is to investigate the dendrite growth phenomenon.Taken S20 and AISI304 for example, some important microstructural parameters have been calculated.For continuous casting process,the dendrite growth rate was dominated by the casting speed.Dendrite growth rate,temperature gradient and cooling rate decreased with the solidification progress and solid shell thickness growth,while other parameters such as dendrite tip radius,secondary dendrite arm spacing became larger with the solidification progress and solid shell thickness growth during slab steel continuous casting;larger casting speed promotes coarser secondary dendrite arm spacing and enlarges the dendrite tip radius. The comparisons between these two kinds of steels showed that the values of microstructural parameters for stainless steel were all smaller than those of carbon steel due to its special composition and solidification mode characteristics.
