聚乙烯管道电熔接头冷焊的判定方法

【摘要】 聚乙烯管道以其质轻价廉、比强度大、比刚度高以及耐磨损、耐腐蚀、绝缘等优势正逐渐代替金属管道,成为埋地燃气管道发展的主流。电熔焊接是聚乙烯管道主要的连接方式之一。冷焊是聚乙烯管道电熔接头最危险的缺陷之一,也是现有无损检测方法最难以发现的一类缺陷。本文简要分析了冷焊的形成原因,并对含冷焊缺陷的电熔接头进行拉伸剥离试验,研究不同冷焊程度对接头力学性能的影响。利用相控阵超声检测设备对电熔接头进行超声检测试验,发现在电熔接头中存在一条由微小气泡造成的特征线,特征线与电阻丝的距离与冷焊程度有良好的线性关系。在此基础上,提出一种电熔接头冷焊缺陷判定方法。
【Abstract】 Polyethylene(PE) pipe has found widespread use in gas distribution for its satisfactory performances including corrosion resistance,resistance to the effects of gas constituents,ease of installation and cost-effectiveness.Cold welding is the most common defect in electrofusion joint in PE pipe,and is hard to be detected by traditional non-destructive test methods.In this paper,the cause of cold welding is briefly introduced. Then,the influence of the degree of cold welding on the mechanical properties of EF joint was researched according to peeling test.Based on ultrasonic phased array test,a qualification method on the cold welding of EF joint was proposed.
