【Abstract】 The new design method of Shells under External Pressure in ASMEⅧ-2(2007) is briefly analyzed and discussed from different aspects,such as applicable shell scope,loading and loading combinations,allowable compressive stresses and Design Factors,Material Properties,and design of stiffening ring.Then,several research subjects are proposed for applying and adapting the new design method better.更多还原
