新型硅雪崩漂移探测器及其能量分辨率研究
Research on a new silicon avalanche drift detector and its energy resolution

【摘要】 报道一种新型正面入射硅雪崩漂移探测器(ADD)结构,以及利用ISE-TCAD器件模拟器对探测器电势分布、耗尽区空穴载流子浓度分布等特性的模拟结果,提出ADD工作在线形模式并结合闪烁体可以用来探测高能离子或射线。同时,通过对几种常见闪烁体射线探测器(PMT、PIN、APD、SDD与ADD)的能量分辨率对比研究表明,ADD具有较好的能量分辨率,特别是对低能端射线的探测有很好的优势。
【Abstract】 In this manuscript, a new silicon avalanche drift detector (ADD) with front illumination is proposed and the feasibility of the device operation is verified by the ISE-TCAD simulation. The detector is supposed to have better performance in the detection of shorter-wavelength light and matching with common scintillation crystal by comparison to previous version (PMT、Si-PIN、APD、SDD). Calculations and analysis show that the ADD-based La2Br3:Ce scintillation detectors exhibit excellent energy resolution in the detection of γ-ray, particularly in the portion of the low energy region.
