线性分层流体中小球生成尾迹内波实验研究

【摘要】 本研究在密度线性分层的盐水中,对小球运动生成的尾迹内波问题进行了试验研究。采用多点组合探头阵列的动态测量方法,测量分析了拖曳小球产生的体积效应内波向尾迹内波转变的临界内Froude数,及尾迹内波的垂向位移场和波形结构,试验确定了运动球激发尾迹内波的等效源体积,本研究的试验结果与理论模型的预测结果相吻合。
【Abstract】 Experiments were conducted to examine the characteristics of wake-generated internal wave produced by a sphere in a linearly stratified saline fluid.By means of the real-time scanning a large array of probes,the transition critical internal Froude number from a body-generated internal wave to wake-generated internal wave was recognized,and vertical displacement and wave patterns for wake-generated internal wave were measured and analyzed.The volume of effective source for a moving sphere to produce the wake-generated internal wave was determined experimentally.It is shown that the numerical results by prediction model are in good agreement with available experimental results.
