高速、大功率程控LED光源驱动电路设计

【摘要】 本文简要介绍一种高速、大功率程控LED(≥3W)光源驱动电路的设计。该电路是我所中子墙探测器阵列光刻度系统的重要组成部分。内置信号源信号经过成形电路后,形成具有一定脉宽的快脉冲信号作为驱动信号,驱动信号上升时间t_r<10 ns,下降时间t_r<10 ns,其脉冲宽度分5档可调。驱动信号的频率有两种选择:50Hz和0.1Hz。该驱动信号通过驱动电路控制输出电流开关,使电流开关的最大输出脉冲电流为800 mA,控制LED在额定功率下工作。该驱动电路单路最多可同时驱动六个大功率LED光源工作。远程控制时,一台计算机可同时控制48路大功率LED光源工作,用单片机(89C52)实现点对多点的数据传输,采用RS-232转RS-485可实现远程控制。该电路具有稳定性好、驱动脉冲前、后沿快,大电流脉冲输出,操作界面友好等特点。目前该驱动电路已用于我所中子墙探测器阵列的光源刻度系统。使用该光源系统实现对其探测单元、读出电子学性能的初步刻度与测试,以及实现对探测单元长期工作状态的监视。

【Abstract】 In this paper,a design of programmable driving circuit for fast and high power LED(≥3W)light source will be introduced briefly.This circuit is a key part of the light calibration system for Neutron Wall detector.The pulse from internal pulse generator was shaped as a driving signal,which pulse width can be adjusted in 5 steps from 15ns to 75ns.The rise-time of driving signal t_r<10 ns,and fall-time of driving signal t_f<10 ns.The frequency of driving pulse can be selected in 2 steps,50Hz and 0.1Hz.The driving signal was used to drive an output current switch via a driving unit. The output current switch can supply pulse current up to 800mA maximum,which was used to control LED operation under rate power.This driving circuit can drive 6 high-power LED simultaneously.At remote control mode,one computer can driving 48 high-power LED simultaneously,SCM(89C52)was used to implement point to multicast data transfer.The remote control was implemented through RS-232 to RS-485 conversion from a computer lone-distance away.The circuit has features such as high operation stability,output driving pulse with fast leading-edge and falling-edge,large current pulse output,and friendly operation interface.This driving circuit has been used to construct the light calibration system for testing and calibrating the detection cells and read-out electronics of Neutron Wall detector,also for monitoring the long-term working state of the detection cells of Neutron Wall detector in Institute of Modern Physics(IMP).
