Mg含量对Cf/Al复合材料的力学性能影响

【摘要】 抑制或消除Cf/Al复合材料中的脆性界面相Al4C3一直是国内外研究重点,本文采用基体合金化手段,通过调整Al合金中的Mg含量来抑制Al4C3的生成。以高纯Al、Al-3.2Mg、Al-4.5Mg、Al-8.5Mg为基体,采用压力浸渗工艺制备了的单向石墨纤维(M40)增强铝基复合材料。结果表明:随着Mg含量的增加,复合材料的弯曲强度有显著提高,其中Al-8.5Mg的弯曲强度比高纯铝为基体的复合材料提高了914MPa,弹性模量为180GPa~190GPa。SEM断口分析表明,高纯Al复合材料界面断口平整,为典型强界面结合。随着Mg元素的增加,Al-8.5Mg为基体的复合材料受载时出现基体和石墨纤维"脱粘"现象,是复合材料强界面结合得到了改善的有利证明。这表明基体中Mg元素的增加可改善界面结合状态,提高复合材料力学性能。

【Abstract】 The undesirable formation of aluminum carbides(Al4C3) at the interface is often observed in Cf/Al composites fabricated at high temperatures,which may influence the properties of composites.And recent research focus on preventing Al4C3 formation.In present work,the amount of Mg is adjusted to suppress interface reaction of composites.Four different alloys,high pure Aluminum(Al),Al-3.2Mg,Al-4.5Mg,Al-8.5Mg,are used as matrix to fabricate unidirectional Cf/Al composites with the same volume fraction.With the increase of Mg,the bending strength of Cf/Al-8.5Mg is higher than that of Cf/Al by 914MPa,but elastic modulus is between 180 GPa and 190GPa,which is nearly unchanged.Fracture surfaces were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),which indicate that fracture surface of composite is fiat,which hint strong interface bonding.However,with the increase of Mg,interface debonding of Al-8.5Mg matrix composite occurrs,which indicate improvement of interface bonding,and also hints the increase of Mg suppressing the formation of Al4C3,then improve the properties of composites.
