基于同心球壳划分的三维模型检索
3D model retrieval based on concentric sphere partition

【摘要】 基于同心球壳划分,利用三维模型网格的空间几何特征定义了4种球面函数序列,从不同角度描述了三维模型。对这4种球面函数序列进行球面调和变换,在此基础上构建了4种特征描述符。针对单一球面函数序列特征表达能力有限的问题,提出了基于多个球面函数序列的特征描述符。实验结果表明,本文提出的特征描述符具有较好的三维模型检索性能,其中基于全部4种球面函数序列的特征描述符的检索性能要优于其他基于球面调和变换的特征描述符。
【Abstract】 In this paper,four spherical function sequences based on 3D model geometry feature was defined using concentric sphere partition,each spherical function sequence describe 3D model from a certain point of view.Then, spherical harmonic transform was used on these function sequences and the energy of the coefficients of spherical harmonics was used to form four 3D feature descriptors.For the discrimination power of feature descriptors based on single spherical function sequence was limited,feature descriptors based on multiple spherical function sequences was proposed.The experimental results indicate that the feature descriptors proposed in this paper have pretty good retrieval performance,especially the feature descriptor based on all four spherical function sequence performs better than some other feature descriptors based on spherical harmonics.
