人神经生长抑制因子(hGIF)的结构-性质-反应-功能关系的研究

【摘要】 <正>金属硫蛋白-3是一种富含金属离子的小分子金属蛋白。由于发现它能够抑制神经细胞的过度生长,因此,他又被称为神经细胞的生长抑制因子(hGIF)。尽管金属硫蛋白-3与它的同家族的其它成员,金属硫蛋白-1/2,在氨基酸顺序有很高的类似性,但是只有它在大脑中表达、存在。研究还表明,
【Abstract】 Human metallothionein-3 (hMT3), also named as human neuronal growth inhibitory factor (hGIF), can inhibit the out-growth of embryonic cortical neurons in the presence of brain extracts. In order to systematically study the structure-property-reactivity-function relationship of hGIF, our laboratory designed a series of mutants and studied their structure, property and function by a series of chemical and biological tools, primary neuronal culture assays etc. We concluded that the bioactivity of hGIF was regulated by multiple factors.
