一种实时且能量有效的多媒体无线传感器网络QoS路由协议

【摘要】 在多媒体无线传感器网络中,图像和视频数据的存在为带宽和能量提出了更多要求。为了实时地传送多媒体数据,本文提出了一种适用于多媒体无线传感器网络的 QoS 路由协议——REAR。该协议通过使用元数据建立多路由,减少了能量消耗;其构造了一个代价函数,综合评价传输链路的能耗,权衡了能量和延迟之间的关系,从而选取 QoS 路由。实验结果表明,该协议保证了多媒体数据的实时传输,并延长了网络的生命周期。
【Abstract】 Image and video sensing data in the multimedia wireless sensor networks makes much require- ments in the resource of bandwidth and energy.For the purpose of real-time transmission of multimedia da- ta,this paper proposes a new QoS protocol applied to multimedia wireless sensor networks——REAR.In this protocol metadata is used to establish multi-path routing for reduce the energy consumption and a cost function is constructed to evaluate the consumption of the transmission links which trades off the relation- ship of energy and delay to chooses a QoS routing.The experiments show that the protocol could ensure the real-time transmission of multimedia data and prolong the lifetime of sensor networks.
