基于快速最近特征线(NFL)的车牌字符识别方法

【摘要】 本文提出一种基于最近特征线(Nearest Feature Line,NFL)法的车牌字符的识别方法.这种方法以 NFL 为基础,充分考虑各个模式类中的原始样本信息,把待识别字符划分到最相匹配的类别中.在对最近特征线的搜索中,采用了一种快速的计算方法,使得其计算量大大减少.实验结果表明,采用基于快速最近特征线搜索方法能有效地提高字符的识别效率.
【Abstract】 A novel license character recognition method based on the nearest feature line(NFL)classifier is presented in this paper.The proposed method improves the recognition performance by considering a lot of original data generated in the distribution of the patterns,which based on the NFL.Moreover,we also propose a fast algorithm for the NFL method to improve the performance of the recognition system.The experimental results show that this method can effectively improve the recognition efficiency of the character recognition
