黄铜—紫铜异种材料激光焊接试验研究
EXPERIMENT RESEARCH ON LASER BEAM WELDING OF DISSIMILAR METALS BETWEEN BRASS AND COPPER

【摘要】 采用2000W Nd:YAG 激光器焊接壁厚1.1mm 的黄铜与壁厚1.5mm 的紫铜搭接接头管材。研究结果表明:黄铜由于富含低熔沸点合金元素锌,易于实现激光深熔焊接,其深熔阈值低于铝合金。虽然紫铜对 YAG 激光的反射率极高,激光焊接困难,但是采用黄铜在上的搭接接头形式,激光束却深入到紫铜基体内部实现了深熔焊接。在合适的工艺参数下,可以得到成形良好的焊接接头。
【Abstract】 A CW Nd:YAG laser with a output power of 2kW was used to weld overlap joint between brass tube with a thickness of 1.1mm and copper tube with a thickness of 1.5mm.It is found that the penetration threshold for brass is even lower than those for aluminum alloys,resulting from the fact that there is rich of zinc element with low melting and evaporating points in brass.Though it is difficult in laser welding of copper due to its high reflectivity and thermal conductivity,the laser beam penetrates into the copper substrate adopting a joint with brass overlapping copper.Welds with uniform appearances and good formations are obtained,and the burst pressure reaches the maximum under the optimal parameters.
