对江苏溧阳两次破坏性地震发震构造的新认识
New cognition for the earthquake-generating tectonic system of two devastating earthquakes in Liyang City,Jiangsu Province

【摘要】 1974年、1979年在江苏省南部溧阳地区相继发生了两次破坏性地震,其中1979年的溧阳6级地震是现代发生在江苏省陆域区最高震级的地震,两次地震相隔5年,极震区基本重合,说明两次地震的发震构造属同一活动断裂。许多地震专家、学者认为这两次地震的发震构造与北北东走向的茅山东缘断裂(简称茅东断裂)有关。随着近年来。在溧阳震区开展的大量浅层人工地震探测、高密度电法、钻探及地震地质考察工作的深入、资料的积累,特别是对地震区余震定位资料精度的不断提高,使人们对溧阳地震发震断裂的认识逐渐清晰,认为两次溧阳破坏性地震的发震主断裂应为金坛—南渡断裂。
【Abstract】 In 1974 and 1979,there arose two devastating earthquakes with scale of seismic magnitudes 5.5 and 6.0 degree respectively in Liyang area,south Jiangsu.Then 6.0 degree earthquake in 1979 was one with most scale of seismic magnitudes took place during the modem history in the continental areas of Jiangsu Province.The five year interval of two earthquakes and rough overlapping ultimate earthquake area show that the earthquake-generating structure of two earthquakes belongs to same active fault.According to the field study of seismic failure,intensity,earthquake-generating tectonics and aftershock development of two earthquakes,the earthquake-generating stueure of two earthquakes should be related with NNE strike fault in the east Maoshan Mountain.In recent years,the cognition for the earthquake-generating structure of two earthquakes is understood gradually on the basis of artificial shallow seismic method,high-density electrical survey,drilling,field seismic exploration and data analysis in Liyang area.Especially,by the high-precision orientation of after- shock earthquake the main shock and aftershock of two earthquakes are conformably developed in Jintan-Nandu fault 2km at a distance of the east Maoshan Mountain fault and the epicenters of two earthquakes developed in the joint area between south of Jintan-Nandu fault and Liyang-Nandu fault.So,new cognition reveals that the two main earthquake-generating faults is Jintan-Nandu fault.
